Eraqus; School of Arms

In an unknown location there sits the school of weaponry, Eraqus. Many of the greatest champions of the known world have come from this school, taught by its secretive Masters and the Grand Master, Eraqus. Every generation has had an Eraqus, but none know who he or she truly is, so the legends from the outside world blur them all together into one person.

Each year on the winter solstice the Masters would go into the world and find children with exceptional talent. Orphans, nobles, they didn't discriminate. They wanted the best of the best, so that they could be trained in the ways of the warrior. After every vernal equinox they would return with the students they had found and would be trained.

Life at the school is harsh for the students. The life lived is very ascetic and they are immersed in the life from day one. After four years the students that survive are given one final test. They must face the master of their choosing before the recruits who are to start the year in training. Passing means they are free to leave the school. Failure means expulsion and being stripped of the knowledge in what is known as Erasure to those who have seen it done.

Notes: This RP will be run very much so under my supervision, if I feel something goes against the feel of this RP's setting, here being a feudal/medieval setting of various cultures when they were in those times, you will hear about it. If you don't like structured plot or gods forbid, think you can do better, please feel free to take yourself elsewhere.
