--- Appearance ---

A girl of fair beauty, Yuki often spends time trying to fix up her appearance by dying her hair or doing her makeup; though she is not vain about her beauty. Yuki tries to look her best whenever she possibly can, albeit aesthetics matter little to her when weighed down by training.

Yuki is an average-height girl with a very slender build. She is not chubby, and she her muscular build is very lean. She looks as if she is not particularly physically strong at a glance, though her thin appearance can be traitorous to her observers. Her skin is very fair, lacking blemishes and it is not unnaturally pale. She has smooth skin that has a natural creamy tone.

Although her hair is dark auburn, Yuki often dyes it an opaque, jet black, with nothing to be said about her auburn eyebrows. She will usually be caught wearing it in a ponytail rather than straight, especially if she is in class, training, or the loose locks would obscure her face. It is trimmed straight at her forehead. Her hair is very soft, which could be likened to running fingers through water upon contact.

Yuki has naturally sapphire eyes. They are not pale, but the color of her retinas is rich and full of luster, almost like sapphires themselves. The whites of her eyes are also perfectly pure, revealing very healthy eyes that match her clear face.

If wearing attire, Yuki has an extensive wardrobe, though often only wears her training gear. However, it is not uncommon to find Yuki wearing casual clothing whenever applicable. Such a wardrobe includes Western-style clothing such as pleated miniskirts, denim jeans, a brown leather jacket, tube and tank tops, and Winter-tailored clothing including scarves and a fur-interior jacket. She also has a kimono dress dyed red with a white interior with gold embroidery, and a yellow sash to match. Said kimono has very elaborate designs of oriental birds and bamboo trunks, something the tailor must have spent an extensive time crafting.

--- Personality ---

Yuki is a vindictive girl, who while not seeking some sort of skewed perception of "justice", does not take easily to "dishonorable" acts. Yuki is very uptight about her sense of honor. Her parents and mentors are treated with the utmost respect by her. Unfortunately, peers are not quite as much at luxury.

Yuki hasn't been known to make many friends, mostly because of her very mechanical personality. She views almost every argument or debate from the most logical standing point, and sentiment hardly ever qualifies as a factor to her. Her personal well-being and health mean little to her if she is trying to follow orders or protect somebody. This does not make her a cold-hearted, antisocial person, however. It only means that she has a very one-track mind and simply knows where her loyalties lie.

Kales is of average height. He doesn't care for his appearance, unless it is a special occasion. His hair is dark red and is usually short and messy. He has a deep scar on the side of his chin, he is unaware of how he had obtained it though. His clothing consists of dark gray sweat pants, a white shirt, and an open black cloak. Within the cloak he has a dagger on one side and his sword on the other. Around his neck is a chain which once belonged to his mother. It is the one thing he has to remind him of his parents.
--- Personality ---

Kales is an overall nice person. But he is a person you don't want on your bad side. He is very careless on his own. He is only serious when it comes to battle. He gets overly excited for things. Also at first glance, he seems like the biggest idiot in the world, but he is actually fairly intelligent. He does extremely well in sword combat. Kales has many friends, he thinks of them all as equals. He also respects all of the Masters in Eraqus.

Kales is from a small village called Jamar. He is the son of one of the most skilled swordsman in the village, his name was Lace. His mother died after Kales' birth, so there is very little knowledge about her. He was given her chain from which she had when she was a child. One day his village was invaded by bandits. Kales, who was 12 years old at the time, watched as most of his village was slaughtered. His father protected Kales from the bandits. Lace instructed Kales to run from the village and await for him at the next town over. As he started running away from the village he was ambushed by three bandits. He picked up a sword that was near him and tried to fight against the bandits. One of the bandits had fallen to him. Kales was frightened by the blood on his blade. Kales had blacked out, he forgotten everything that happened after this.

He woke up a day later at another village with his blade with him. It was glowing somewhat red. He had noticed a scar on his chin, and his chain had gone missing. This village was unfamiliar to him. He left the village to go back to the town where his father instructed him to meet up at. As he exited the village the sword stopped growing red. He had faced many hardships along the way, but he had fought them off with his sword. Two months later he had reached his hometown, he had found it destroyed. There were barely any remains left. He doubt that his father was still in the next town. He went there anyway. As he checked in at the Inn, a woman had given him a chain. It was his mother's chain. She said a man stopped by and gave it to her. He said that if he she had ever confronted a young boy named Kales, she had to give it to him.

Kales spent three years at the village waiting for his father to come back, while he was there he had made a name for himself. He trained many years in sword combat. At the age of fifteen, he was asked to join the school of Eraqus. He declined the offer, he said until his father had come back, he would not leave the village. Within the next year the master came back. He told Kales that if he were to train in the school he would become a very powerful swordsman. The master said that his father would hear about Kales if he got strong enough and eventually find him at the school. He enrolled in the school at 16 years old.

May I have permission? The dagger is for parrying, are you sure that can't be overruled?

You may, but a note for everyone, PM me BEFORE you do it, not after.

As for the weapon school, just use Sword > Dual Weild and use a very short sword for the off hand. Same basic mechanics, and it gives the parry a bit more range and area to block with.
