Scrolly Text

I know launching straight into a suggestion topic as soon as you register is generally frowned upon on the 'net, but the scrolly text at the top of the main page is very distracting. I keep having to stop and stare at it for a minute... two minutes... five... I haven't even read what it says because I'm so distracted by the scrolling.

Can you do something about that? >.>

... I can, but that's my way of spreading news. So no. I can put multiple messages there at once, and it's a convenient location. Plus I can use BBCode on it.

If there's nothing else to be discussed, I'll be locking this thread.
